Dispatch from Dun Morogh and Ironforge!
What's the haps, World of WarCraft fans?
King Magni Bronzebeard of Dun Morogh and Ironforge here, guest-bloggin' it today here in Blackwolf the Dragonmaster's Diary of Magecraft, whilst our fave Unofficial Wizard gets ready to make a rare, in civilian garb public appearance as a spectator at this year's Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Cool, huh?
Anyway, we just made our first-ever TV commercial here in the World, so our Bliz bosses are happy about that! Yay! (Believe me, we had to do a lot of arm-twistin' to make 20th Century-Fox give us the clips from Office Space just to even make the spot!) And anyway, we're pretty much gonna watch the Parade, too, so this is to remind you that Blizzard Entertainment's Irvine, California offices will be closed Thanksgiving Day. This is because: a), our corporate crew has families they wanna spend some quality time with, too; b), even creatures who pretty much make their living munching on Humans also have families; and c), those who fail to heed warnings a) and b) will, of course, be EATEN!
"And what about you head-bashing Dwarves?" I hear you asking. "Don't you have families, too?" Yeah, I do. Or, rather, I thought I had one. Problem is, Muradin's dead, Brann's missing (somewhat), and my daughter Moira will soon give birth to a kid who one day will rule as King of all Ironforge --- and Emperor of Blackrock Mountain. So I guess you folks out there are probably wondering what ol' Bronzie has to be thankful for, huh? Tell you what, why don't we start with you folks out there, huh? Guest-bloggin' it here in Blackwolf's Diary gives me a little bit of sanity, becasue not only does it give me a chance to talk to you, I get to wax poetic on stuff like the way-cool Legendary Pictures website (yeah, the WoW Movie is still in ol' development hell for now, gang!), but hey, at least we can count on our pals from Hogwarts to give us da best thrills, huh?
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving, World of WarCraft fans. We're back in business-as-usual mode on Monday --- and you can count on this ol' Dwarf to do some major-league head-bashin' then! Toodles, you Dwarf-lovin' dudes and dudettes!
Love,
Bronzie
