Greetings, World of WarCraft fans! King Magni Bronzebeard here --- and hey, it's been a while since I last spoke to you from here in the ol' Throne Room! Betcha you didn't think anything was goin' on here at Blizzard HQ in beautiful downtown Irvine, California, huh?
Well, BlizzCon's comin' up October 21st and 22nd at the usual stompin' grounds (a/k/a the Anaheim, California Convention Center, about a skosh or four from Disneyland), so we figured: Hey, here's a smashing thought: Let's give BlizzCon a site all its own. So we did, and here it is: us.battle.net/blizzcon/en/. News, info, updates, and three big contests: Fan Art, Movie and Original Song! Cool, huh? And you ain't gotta lotta time, Humans --- deadline for submissions to all three contests is August 29th! So I'd get busy craftin' some stuff if I were you! The Global Battle.net Invitational and GBL October Finals will be part of this year's party, along with vendors, our Costume Contest --- and, needless to say, kick-ass band to be named later!
And look for a lot of us Dwarves to be represented in the Big Weekend at Anaheim, too. When we get the photos posted at the parent site, we'll letcha know. Meanwhile, we got a new Cataclysm patch for ya. We call it Rage of the Firelands, Patch 4.2 --- and I don't mind tellin' ya it's gonna be sssssssmokin'!
