Another Open Letter to Finntroll
Greetings dear Finntrollers!
I have previously read your webmaster's statement regarding the firing of Wilska. Apparently, there has been some sort of personal situation whereby the other Trolls have questioned Wilska's loyalty to the band during the last three years. While I shall not speculate as to the reasons why --- and I'd like to make it clear that it is NOT in any way my intent to do so --- I should like to say that this sad parting of the ways occurs even as I was beginning to fully discover your music and methodology.
Being a Wizard, I make it my business to learn about the musical styles and behaviors of others. Heavy metal is no exception to this; as long as no one does me any serious bodily injury, it's quite fine. My point is simply that there was a kind of fellowship with the six of you; that fellowship is now gone as a result of your situation with Wilska. I commend you on your desire to resume your Spring 2006 European tour as scheduled, even as you seek out the opportunity to renew that Fellowship. In that sense, I can do no more save wish you all the best of luck. (By the way, as you read this, Super Bowl XL is in the history books; the Pittsburgh Steelers having triumphed over the upstart Seattle Seahawks, 21-10. I am sure the results will air on Finnish television; I think I am somewhat familiar with YLE, having depended on that network every Christmas for the latest news from Rovaniemi.)
In any case, I look forward to speaking with you Finntrollers as soon as possible. Rot n' troll!
Fearlessly yours,
Master Blackwolf
