ID4 w/your Yankee Doodle Dragonmaster!
Greetings, Mortals, and God Bless America!
Yes, kiddos, 'tis time for New York's Unofficial Wizard to get down and funky and remind ye goodly gentles why, despite the fact that I've had 4800 or so years in this wiz biz, I still have an extreme fondness for these United States, and the fact that I am probably the only Wizard that dares to wear his patriotism around his waist. Yes, there is an actual reason as to why I wear red, white and blue ribbons around me waist during my many adventures.
By the way, I did manage to find out about that movie shoot that cramped me style the other day and booted me from me Bethesda Fountain digs as well. The thing is, it's going to be a Disney live-action/CGI-animated musical called Enchanted! The director is Kevin Lima, and the film's gonna star Susan Sarandon and Irina Menzel. In the story, an animated princess is banished from her kingdom by an evil queen who uses her magic to spirit the princess into live-action, present-day New York City. Well, the other night, when I spoke to His Danish Majesty, King Christian III about this, right away he recognized the plot: Last time we were down this road, said King Christian, I believe it was called The 10th Kingdom. Clearly, I was surprised that he knew that!
Anyway, Enchanted! will feature a score by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz; and will be in theaters next July. Here's hoping the 10th Kingdom fans get it right this time!
Meanwhile, I had hoped to spend a whole weekend in full effect; alas, I'll have to suit up on Tuesday --- the actual 4th of July itself. Expect me to have me hand on me heart all day long whilst I recite the Pledge of Allegiance! Pray, let us keep it real, as it were: New York's Unofficial Wizard I may be, but thank goodness I'm an All-American Mage, too! That is why, each 4th of July, I open the Dark Chambers website by declaring meself as your Yankee Doodle Dragonmaster! And you can count on that tradition to continue indefinitely! Huzzah! and hurrah!
Fearlessly yours, as always,
Master Blackwolf
