Dispatch from Dun Morogh and Ironforge!

What's happenin', World of WarCraft lovers? King Magni Bronzebeard of Dun Morogh and Ironforge here! Since nothing's goin' down as yet here at Activision Blizzard Headquarters in beautiful downtown Irvine, California, we here in the ol' World of Warcraft figured we'd kick back a little and let you folks read about us in DC Comics' Wildstorm Comics! Legendary comics dude Walter Simonson has come with a doozy of a story --- and I happen to be one of the co-stars! --- where there's this Human dude with this amnesia thing. The Orc Shaman Rehgar Earthfury nabs him --- but the guy escapes --- and now, he's got both the Alliance and the Horde on his case, even as tries to unlock the keys to his past! And that's just the first half of the story, Issues Zero through Seven. The second half of the story kicked off earlier in June with Issue #8; Issue #12, where yours truly is among the featured ass-kickers, is currently on the comic book racks at participating Barnes & Noble and Borders Bookstores; please find it in your Dwarf-lovin' hearts to check it out, because Jon Buran and Jerome K. Moore came up with some really cool artwork, including some totally excellent closeups of moi! Neat, huh?

Speaking of this bein' October, NEXT WEEKEND is THE weekend, people! I'm talkin', of course, about BlizzCon 2008, Friday and Saturday, October 10th & 11th, at the Anaheim, California Convention Center, a skosh or two away from Disneyland! We got Silas Darkmoon's Faire Carnival, where our Trading Card Game is the centerpiece item; the official DC Comics booth will be home to Jon Buran and Jim Lee, who'll be signin' pictures and drawing cool, power-packed stuff; the Epic Weapons booth will let only the really worthy amongst you dudes and dudettes touch King Arthas' trusty blade, Frostmourne (that means no wimps allowed!); and we're also proud to team up with New York's Kings of Halloween Costume Stuff, Rubie's Costumes, who'll have their top models show you what they came up with! FigurePrints Statues; SteelSeries Professional Gaming Gear; Fantasy Flight Board Games; Jinx Clothing Apparel and Accessories; even the Tokyopop Manga Gang --- they're gonna have it all! Bradygames hosts all the LiveQuests --- and guildmembers who visit the WarCraft.SwagDog.com booth can pose against an Alliance or Horde backdrop, too!

BlizzCon's also hostin' the WarCraft III and WoW Arena Tournament Grand Finals! There's about over $200,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, dudes! And even if you can't be there and party on with us in person, don't worry --- because we asked DirecTV to help us take care of that for ya. You'll see:

16 full hours of high-definition, LIVE coverage! Exclusive interviews and play-by-play! Tournament coverage! Team highlights! Funny dude Jay Mohr anchoring tournament contest coverage! A power-mad Opening Ceremony! A sneak peek inside our homebase in Irvine! And an awesome Closing Ceremony, starring funny dude Patton Oswalt and ass-kickin' band Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain!

Believe me, you do not wanna miss out on the fun, kids! Mead, game-playin', live stuff, and we get to bash in a head or four ---- and the best part is (we hope) nobody gets arrested! Check out the BlizzCon.com website while you still can --- because it's gonna be one doozy of a bash! I can hardly wait! See you out there next weekend, Dwarf-lovin' dudes and dudettes!

Love,

Bronzie
