Blackwolf's Adventures in Hogwarts: The Last Chapter
Well, Mortals, this is it.
In a few hours, the world will know absolutely EVERYTHING. I need not remind you what's at stake here, but for those of you who need it, harrypotter.com will have the balance of the answers for you. The only reason I'm getting my work done here this morining is largely so I'll something to do, much less a little time to kill --- and then, I must to Barnes & Noble Union Square away, as I am going to attempt to get there before the festivities begin at five of the clock. To recap, if only briefly: Jim Dale will show up around 10:30 pm (ET); representatives from TheLeakyCauldron.org and MuggleNet.com will be there as well, and one can expect in-store appearances from the entire cast of regulars; as well as live performances from local area magicians, a costume contest, a chance to greet favorite little ones with their take on the Potter frenzy --- oh, I could go on and on and on!
Meanwhile, I have a few misgivings about this day. This day will see me in full costume and in full character all of 24 hours. Boy, am I gonna know how Jack Bauer feels!
Speaking of Kiefer Sutherland, there is to be an animated movie based upon Wizards of the Coast's DragonLance Chronicles Trilogy. Volume One, Dragons of Autumn Twilight, is presently in post-poroduction, and will soon be released direct to DVD. In this co-production from Toonz Animation India, Commotion Pictures and Epic Level Entertainment, Kiefer will be the voice of Raistlin; and Michael Rosenbaum is Tanis Half-elven; with Lucy Lawless as Goldmoon, Jason Marsden as Tasslehoff Burrfoot, Neil Ross as Fizban, Michelle Trachtenberg as Tika, MArk Worden as Sturm Brightblade, Phil Lamarr as both Riverwind and Gilthanas, Fred Tatasciore as both Flint Fireforge and Fewmaster Toede, and Dee Bradley Baker as the dragon Pyros, to name only a few.
Among the metal bands offering potential contributions to the DoAT soundtrack are: Blind Guardian, Dargaard, Dungeon, Nightwish, Lake of Tears, and Shadowblade.
But what in Merlin's name, I hear you asking, has all this to do with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?
Well, since I first began following the adventures of Lordi and fiends, many have e-mailed me re: my recent embracement of this thing called Wizard Rock. Well, I am in fact hoping to get Team Lordi invovled in that; as soon as I've e-mailed Lordi properly, I'll let ye know. Meanwhile, I'm gonna try to make this as short as possible. I got a lot to do this day and night --- and I pray I can make it back to me hovel at around 2 inna morning! Wish me luck, loyal fans!
Fearlessly yours, as always,
Master Blackwolf
