The Royal Wedding, The Sequel: Another Blackwolfian Rant

Well, here we go. We now know the when and where: Friday, April 29th, 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London (which is appropriate anyway, given that Westminster, by tradition, is where Britain's Kings and Queens have been crowned); from what your Dragonmaster has read, according to a recent poll, most Britons would rather have Wills and Kate as King and Queen as opposed to boring old Chuck and Camilla.

Given the choice, Mortals, ol' Blackwolf would go with Wills and Kate.

"But why would you wish the Royal lineage to skip by one, Master Blackwolf?" I hear ye asking. Know this: the House of Windsor of late hath not made any real noise, especially not since the loss of dearest Diana, Wills' mum. It's time someone raised a ruckus or two at Buckingham Palace, by Merlin's beard! Besides, I've long gotten my fill from the Royal Portraits of King George V and Queen Mary of Teck in their Coronation Robes; and those of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. This Mage takes his Royals seriously, kids; even as you read this, I'm imagining what King William VI and Queen Catherine will look like --- and more, it would be Britain's first-ever Coronation Ceremony to embrace a digital generation. It would be only the second such Coronation to do so, the first having taken place in Tonga; in case you didn't see that particular Coronation, here's a memory refresher:

King George Tupou V of Tonga, on his lofty, gold and spectacularly cool throne in Tonga's tiny National Cathedral, just two short years ago, in what your humble Dragonmaster still calls the Coolest Coronation Ever. (Be a dear and see my earlier entry, in case you really need to remember.) Meanwhile, let it be said that Wills and Kate as King and Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland --- that Coronation Ceremony, should it ever occur, will be the one to beat, say I!

As ever, America, I wanna know what you think. Gimme an e-mail at either electric_pirates@hotmail.com or blackbeardian@yahoo.com.
