Missive #399!

Well, that was certainly fast! One more missive left, folks! And then, Missive #400 in this, Blackwolf the Dragonmaster's Diary of Magecraft!

And since it's going to be all-Barack, all-the-time around here from here on in, here are the guest stars that will be lined up for the big, long morning:

Ya got the U.S. Marine Corps Marching Band, along with the San Francisco Boys & Girls Chorus. Ya got Aretha Franklin, singing a new, specially composed theme song. Ya got John Williams, conducting a new orchestral suite, featuring these top soloists: Itzhak Perlman, violin; Yo-Yo Ma, cello; plus pianist Gabriela Montero and clarinetist Tony McGill. Elizabeth Alexander recites a specially written poem for the festivities; and the U. S. Navy Band plays our National Anthem.

And we'll just stop right there, as we will expect some very major surprises.

And if you think that's something, look who's doing the Inaugural Parade: The Bonnie Brae Knights Drum Corps; the Cleveland Firefighters' Memorial Pipes & Drums; the Brattleboro Union High School Marching Band; El Mariachi del Sol de Espanola Valley High School; a marching band called Get a Life!; the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids; survivors of the Tuskeegee Airmen; kids and friends form the Special Olympics --- and much, much more!

The whole nine yards of this is devoted to the theme Renewing America's Promise, though I'm not entirely sure about how they're going to go about doing that. As I said, I intend to wait it out for the next 100 days or so until I'm properly convinced about what the guy's plans are. As ever, I can only say --- pray, stay ye tun'd!

Mr. Blackwolf,
You may want to double-check your representatives from the State of Alabama. At last account I understood that the Tuskeegee Airmen will not be making the trip to D.C., leaving the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids as the lone representative for our state. You should check out www.wkrg.com for more news surrounding the appearance of the Trail Maids in the parade.
