From Just Another Good-Hearted Soldier in Dumbledore's Army

Yes, fans of Magecraft --- Harry Potter rules the Multiverse again! And given that there won't be anymore Star Wars films, it now falls to the Boy Who Lived to take up the slack and serve as the last true bastion of pure, unadulterated nerd-dom. There are some of you out there who would say that with the success of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the Golden Era of Nerdiness has come to an end.

WRONG!!!

Clearly some of you twits forgot about us good folks at Hogwarts. As we count these last hours down to the coming of Half-Blood Prince, here, right from the lips of Blackwolf the Dragonmaster, are some things that Potter fans CAN count on: One, there will be the obligatory mixed reviews for Goblet of Fire, The Movie, followed by the speculation as to whether Radcliffe, Grint and Watson will re-up for the next film. Two, re-up they will indeed! The fans will INSIST upon it. Hell, I insist upon it! Three, the minute Goblet achieves blockbuster status, which it better, Warners will immediately put Order of the Phoenix into pre-production, if it ain't there now, with Half-Blood Prince sure to follow.

Nerds of all ages, know this: the Mages, Warlocks, Witches, Wizards and Sorcerers of Hogwarts have not forgotten you. Until George Lucas decides to get off his ass and get Warwick Davis to do Willow II, I'm afraid the Potter movies will have to do. Besides, when the chips are down, you've always gone to HarryPotter.com to lift you goodlies up, haven't you? Yes, you have! And if all goes according to plan, there'll be a full premiere party wrapup here in the ol' Diary of Magecraft!

(By the way, dear Triumph: could you at least bother to show up at the Books of Wonder shindig --- and at the very least, try to keep your insults TV-PG, would you? I mean, you will be dealing with kids and whatnot.)

Later, Wizardly dudes and dudettes!

Master Blackwolf
