Wednesday Weird Stuff

Well, another Wednesday looms, so here's a few items of weirdness to pass along:

In Basile, Louisiana, they have an annual Louisiana Swine Festival --- which is a celebration of all things pig. Given that Walden Media and Paramount Pictures will bring to the screen a new, live-action/CGI-animated rendition of E. B. White's Charlotte's Web at the end of the year, I have no doubt that this year's Swine Festival will be timed to coincide with that release, presumably this Christmas.

Now, 'tis a well-known fact that Wednesdays are not necessarily weird, but I imagine today is an especially weird Wednesday. Oh, why beat 'round ye bush, Mortals? I've got nothing to really blog about today, Lords and Ladies. 'Tis just one of those days.
