Blackwolf Predicts: MGM Must Be Destroyed

The current cover story in the printed version of Entertainment Weekly is called "Goodbye, Mr.Bond!" Yes, the most famous action movie franchise of them all has had its potential 23rd installment postponed indefinitely, the reason being the continued financial status of 007's longtime home for so many years, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. And that isn't all. The long hoped for, 2-part, live-action film of The Hobbit is likewise on hold in light of MGM's problems.

At the risk of sounding like a heretic for the mere utterance of the words, let me just come right and say them, point blank, for the simple reason that there's no other way to solve these issues:

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer MUST be destroyed.

You want that Hobbit movie to happen, don't you, kids? You want the legacy of Danjaq LLC and Eon Productions Limited to continue, don't you? Then you will have learn that sometimes it pays to be forced to make a sacrifice. When Yahoo! shut down GeoCities last October, I warned you, my loyal fans, that it would be necessary for me to willingly destroy my own website in order to save it. Clearly, this is the case at MGM as well.

Lemme know what you think, America. Gimme an e-mail at either electric_pirates@hotmail.com or blackbeardian@yahoo.com.
