Apartment Blues (and Documentary Blues as Well)
We have reached the halfway point in the filming of Quite an Imagination: The Story of New York's Unofficial Wizard, Stephen Steinberg's feature-length documentary that follows your humble Dragonmaster on me usual routine's worth of adventures. However, I've sort of come up against the proverbial brick wall, as, I fear, has Stephen.
There are several internal situations going on at Eternal Damnation Productions headquarters; until these are resolved, production on the documentary remains, for the moment, on hold. It's no better on my end of things, for my apartment must be renovated, its walls and ceiling replastered, rebricked and repainted; those responsible for doing all that will doubtless need to move in and out of my bedchambers, forcing me, along with most of my stuff, to very likely be moved to another apartment. It's a long and rather tedious process; and frankly, I wish there were a way I could get it all done without having to go through all the stress and force one normally associates with such a process.
I fear that I may have to find out if ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is still in production; if they aren't, I shall doubtless be forced to do practically everything myself. I think I should have to call in Long Island's famous Pyrate Brotherhood to help me gather up my things, assuming their schedule would permit.
Oh, would that none of this had ever come to pass! Drat, drat, draaaat!!!!
