A Few Things That Got Lost in the Wrenchworks, if you will.......

Well, while the rest of the world, your Dragonmaster included, was otherwise occupied with the strange case of the end of civilization as we know it, some sad news came across the valleys of the cyber-realm: Bob Dunsire, a dear friend and a longtime consultant to your Dragonmaster's sister website, Uncle Fergus' Bagpipers' Paradise, passed away on November 6th, 2006, after an extensive, two-year battle with cancer.

Bob was a kind-hearted, fun-loving soul whose passion for the Great Highland Pipes of Scotland never wavered, not even in those days when he was physically unable to play them. That's where BobDunsire.com comes in --- one of the most extensive and comprehensive bagpipe-related websites in the world, it is THE place most bagpipers turn to if a link on their own website(s) is either out of date or just nonexistent. The Dunsire family, happily, has determined itself that, despite Bob's passing, the website, featuring its heavily-linked Bagpipe Web Directory, MUST continue. And indeed, continue it will.

Our condolences, then, to the Dunsires and their friends in the piping community regarding this tremendous loss. Bob Dunsire brought so many innovative things to the world by simply developing his homepage into its present form. We look forward to watching Bob Dunsire.com take the unprecedented step of having outlived its founder.
