Dispatch from Dun Morogh and Ironforge; Bonjour, Paree!

Hey there, World of WarCraft fans! King Magni Bronzebeard of Dun Morogh and Ironforge here!

So I'm sittin' on my Royal Butt here in the ol' Throne Room, when the word comes down from the higher-ups here in beautiful downtown Irvine, California: They're saying basically that things have gotten so boring in the U.S. of A. that they want us to go on a totally excellent vacation! Wanna know where? That's right, mes amis: The whole Blizzard gang is gonna do Paris, France!

We're talking about the Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational Tournament --- a weekend that brings together the whole company, its cast of characters (includin' yours truly!), and YOU, our loyal fans, together for two whole days of the stuff Blizzard fans want to do. You know what I'm talking about here: Panel discussions, costume and dance contests, live performances from some real cool butt-kickin' rockers, merchandise, silent auction --- and the hands-on double-packed world premieres of Wrath of the Lich King and StarCraft II! We're all gonna be hangin' out at Hall No. 5 of the Porte de Versailles Exposition Center in Paris, on Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th! Meanwhile, Fury of the Sunwell, Patch 2.4, the newest episode in our Burning Crusade library, is fully operational, too! (Even if there are still a couple kinks to be worked out!)

Well, anyway, check out Blizzard.com if you wanna get some more updates. In the meantime, I gotta go pack my battlegear, man: You never know if you're gonna need to bash in a few heads along ze Champs-Elysees!

Catch ya later, Dwarf-lovin' dudes and dudettes!

Another Very Important Royal Thank You Note

To Their Most Imperial Sovereign Majesties, Emperor XVII Rob Hunter de Woofs and Empress XXII Charlene Chivoe:

Greetings unto Your Imperial Majesties, as you begin this, your first full day as Rulers of the Imperial Court of New York. I, Blackwolf the Dragonmaster, Duke of Talisker, have spoken much regarding my encounter with you and your predecessors, Emperor Craig XVI Hollywood and Empress XXI B at last Sunday's Easter Parade; your kindness to me will needless to say never be forgotten --- so let me take this chance to say those two most important words in any old Wizard's life, said two words being: Thank you.

Put simply, Your Majesties' kindness made me very happy. And once more, I express the hope that indeed there is a proper future to restore the dream unto the Mortalfolk of the City, County and State of New York. Alas, I am sorry that I could not crash the Royal Festivities in person, but, as always, I reserve my Saturday nights for Cops and America's Most Wanted. Seriously, when John Walsh boasts that AMW will soon capture its 1000th Fugitive, you doubtless want to be there to be in on the celebration; do you honestly think I'm going to allow meself to miss out on that one? I don't think so!

Nevertheless, 'twas a pleasure being able to kiss the Empress' hand! I may be New York's Unofficial Wizard, and I may often drive a few of mine fellow New Yorkers bonkers at times, but I know Royal People when I see 'em, and accordingly am only too ready to give them the respect and honor which are their proper due! (Besides, it's not every day that you get to say hello to a good many people like that in that way!)

So, in closing, I hope Your Imperial Majesties will have a long and happy reign; and I look forward to greeting you again in May at AIDS Walk New York --- and, if that fails, at the Pride Parade in June. Oh, and by the way, I wish to personally invite Your Imperial Majesties to join me during our 35th Anniversary Greenwich Village Halloween Parade, which marks my last official public appearance of 2008! Until, you and I have the whole summer to greet each other again. I hope that this can indeed be so. Until then, I have the honor to remain,

Fearlessly yours,

Master Blackwolf
